8th Treatment Cost Of My Laser Tattoo Removal

Before I shared on the costing, I am going to share the new technology from my research.

Why is PicoWay better than traditional Q-switched lasers?

Q-Switch technology requires numerous treatment sessions, causes significant discomfort during treatment and, in many cases, incompletely removes tattoos and pigmented lesions. Picosecond technology, has ultra-short pulse durations, 100 times shorter than Q-switch lasers, and in the trillionths of a second. These bursts of energy create a photoacoustic impact which breaks up the tattoo ink or pigmentation into smaller, more easily absorbed particles. PicoWay’s unique, proprietary mode of action has the highest peak power and the shortest pulse duration of any picosecond device on the market for superior efficacy, safety and comfort. PicoWay is the answer physicians are looking for to combat the reluctance patients may have to treat tattoos or more complex pigmented lesions.

There you have it! I bold the words "100 times shorter than Q-switch lasers" What a great difference!

The cost involved so far as of today:
1st treatment: $382
2nd treatment: $212
3rd treatment: $212
4th treatment: $212
5th treatment: $216
6th treatment: $244
7th treatment: $216
8th treatment: $218
Total spent on my laser treatments as of today: $1912

6th Treatment Cost Of My Laser Tattoo Removal

After doing the treatment for several times, I am sort of having like a "pro" feeling now! What do I mean by that? You see, I don't really post much on this blog except for the regular process, the costings, the outcome, and some base information on laser tattoo removal etc. All this info that I have posted has become an ongoing process and its more or less similar.

The cost involved so far as of today:
1st treatment: $382
2nd treatment: $212
3rd treatment: $212
4th treatment: $212
5th treatment: $216
6th treatment: $244
Total spent on my laser treatments so far: $1478

Now assuming if I need a total of 12 treatments, $1478 will be doubled. So an estimate of $2800-$2900 plus time will be needed to remove your tattoo effectively! You may ask why $244 this time round? I got the following medication:
Numb cream
Bilaxten 20Mg (For more info, you can refer to my old post here)
And a new ointment called Muprin. Which I believe it has the same purpose for Foban Ointment.

Possible side effects of this medication includes headache and drowsiness. Uncommon side effects (affects 1 to 10 users in 1,000) include abnormal ECG heart tracing, blood tests which show changes in the way the liver is working

Tattoo removal 3 weeks later

I got 'lasered' on 22nd Dec and today marks the 3rd week of my first treatment. The ink on the skin has definitely gone lighter and the results are obvious. According to my doctor, he says it may take another 6-8 sessions for it to be completely removed.

From the way I look at it, I estimate another 4-5 treatments before its totally removed. The itch sets in during the night while am sleeping. I guess by next week, this treatment will be fully recovered. So based on my calculation, It will be 4-5 weeks per recovery per session.

Lets do the maths here:
1 session = 4 weeks
6 sessions = 6 x 4 = half year for tattoo to be fully removed
6 x $350 estimate = $2100 for whole thing to be complete. That is the best case scenario! As the saying goes, no pain no gain! Let's do this!
