Tattoo Removal Process

When the laser beam strikes the ink in your tattoo, it goes through the top layer of your skin and hits the ink. It causes a tiny explosion, breaking the ink into smaller pieces.

You can hear the continuous 'piak piak piak' with each laser pulse and will feel something similar to a rubber band popping against your skin. This can cause discomfort and this video below will show you exactly how the procedure is done.

To make yourself feel more relax, you can be just talking during the procedure. The use of a stress or “squeezy” ball provides significant reduction in pain and anxiety by way of distraction.

Other things that help decrease discomfort is cooling the skin before, during and right after your laser tattoo removal treatment. There is a numbing cream that can be applied to the skin a few hours prior to you treatment if desired.

The final thing is that treatment is quite fast and the speed of the treatment is much faster than the time it took to place the ink.
